But that's not what mainframes are about. They've never had great processing
power. What a mainframe gives you, more than most other platforms on the
planet, is ungodly amounts of I/O bandwidth. It's jsut a matter of using
the right tools for the job, and a mainframe isn't always the right tool,
depending on what you're doing.
