Great idea.
Perhaps the GLLUG Geek Pub could be called 
"At the Sign of the Prancing Pony"
(someone else can explain my logic here.Grin.)

But of course Alan Cox's bar would have to serve Free Beer -
so we would rapidly go out of business.
Unless that is we have a new business model for bars,
and make our money from services instead.
Let's have some (clean - nothing too risque) suggestions
of what services a free beer pub could have.
