I would be less bothered about London getting hit. I would suggest that a
response from the UK would be a little more responsible and measured. (Okay
a little less Gungo-Ho)

I see it completely possible that the UK get slip-streamed into a conflict in
the middle east. The Israelis PR is much better than that of the
Palestinians. There is no mention of Israel still being in breach of United
Nations declarations in the news. Any activity between Palestine and Israel
is now seen in the West as Israel responding to aggression.

This would be the first time in a couple of hundred years that the UK would
be on the side of the aggressors in a conflict. (Yes this does ignore the
fact that there was a Union flag flying over Cork in 1920. We can see the
difficulties involved in this issue just trying to get children to school!)

The Palestinians easily see that the US is complicit in any action of the
Israelis. The US give Israel in excess of US$5,000,000,000 every year -
excluding gifts of arms. Not bad for a country of 6 million people. No I am
not jumping on to any particular side there are injustices on both; it might
be worthwhile asking an independant party to police no-man's land and
starting from there.

Kind regards
Xander
