I have no idea - I registered in 1996, and I don't have access to that
e-mail any more, so I can't (quickly and easily) get my number. A quick
flick shows that the numbers aren't really consecutive, since people in the
9000's have a registered date of 1992!
I always liked the fact that the 'welcome to Slackware' e-mail in root's
mailbox at install time on Slackware (obviously) suggests registering with
the Linux counter. Do any other distros do anything like that?
