 Yes I thought of that one, I don't like very much SuSe, I was happy
 with it years ago, but I prefer to go the vanilla way.

 Some of the issues of mdk might apply to the german distro.

 This could be a good theme for a GLLUG talk, the good and not so
 good points of using vanilla distros against the fast food kind of
 likes of mdk and suse.

 I enjoy learning by myself but sometimes I don't enjoy fixing things
 that shouldn't be broken in the first place.

 Everybody has different needs,
