I'd rather have control of my mouse/keyboard when moving large files :-)

Its a new Gigabyte board with the recent VIA KT333 chipset (and presumably
newish ATA133 IDE chip)

Thanks. Mandrake 8.2 is probably the same as RH. I'll have a look later.
