The USB Cradle is a dream, been supported since the 2.2 backports. Not
used with Evolution, but have used with the commandline tools for
installing trash, etc. No problems. 

Evolution is on the "todo" list, honest :) Today, infact, unless I get
my wife to take me into town and then I'll be playing with my new Radio
Controlled car instead *cough* *grin*
