[Gllug] Stupid dpkg questions

I just know that someone on GLLUG is a guru on this topic.
Heck, I shouldn't even ASK this for fear of being 
RTFMed to the point where I curl up and die from shame.

Anyway, have any of you gurus out there ever 
installed or used dpkg on a RedHat system
(gasp! I hear the sound of 100 indrawn breaths.
Heresy! Stone the crimson headger equipped heathen).

Anyway, any hints, tips, pointers towards howtos
appreciated.
