My sources claim that increasing amounts of Oracle internal
stuff (including the must-be-fast demo systems) run on i386
Linux.

Apparently one of their warehousing demo systems is a few
Linux boxes with datafiles mounted on NFS.  I know it's
pretty much (possibly exactly) read-only, but that's still
pretty sick.
