Things we do to pound servers before they go into production :)
bonnie (24h)
seti (or similar cpu hog, one instance per cpu, 24h)
memtest (from boot floopy)
building a linux kernel in a loop (24h)
If they survive that lot without tossing errors we start building up the
system ready to go into service.
