[Gllug] remove email addresses in reply quote

Does anyone have a good reason why I shouldn't be asking everyone to set
up their mail client so it doesn't put the original senders email
address in the reply quote? And yes I talking about on this list as well
as others. e.g. 
"On Wed, Dec 11, 2002 at 03:29:44PM +0000, Name wrote:"
rather than.
"On Wed, Dec 11, 2002 at 03:29:44PM +0000, Name at example.com wrote:"

Seams to me pointless munging or removing senders addresses in mailing
archives only to have them appear in the body text of others. Your
comments please.
