youve seen mission impossible! even if its in a locked room with pressure 
sensors and stuff then tom cruise will still get root ;)

if one of your partitions is encrypted (and i wouldnt recommend making the 
root one) it is extremely safe, as long as youre willing to input the key 
upon boot-up... it'll protect all your data while the machine is switched 
off, but just dont forget the code!
