fair enough if it works for you 

I find GUI admin tools don't work well for shared admin tasks

the two key failing of all the gui tools I have seen is that they make no 
provision for rolling back changes or making comments about those changes.

this to me is the key advantage of config at the console

(these things could be done in a gui but I haven't seen it)
