I tried to install a vt100 emulator on my old Psion 3c but I couldn't get
the software activated.
Any suggestions where I can find a working vt100 free emulator for the Psion
3c.

Another useful thing is to run a getty on one of your serial ports (with
most distributions this is as simple as uncommenting a line in
/etc/inittab and then runnint init -q). Then, assuming you have
something that can do a terminal session over a serial line, you can get
in even if networking is down.
I use my Visor or one of the Psions we have at work but you can also do
it with a laptop and a null modem cable.
