And for a core internet service like e-mail, DJB's approach just doesn't
cut it.  The only approach that makes sense is to be tolerant of what
other systems send you and strict about what you send them.  This is
definitely one case where DJB's attitude adversely affects the quality
of his software.  Qmail has been accused of destructive behaviour to
other systems, notably flooding remote systems if it's brought up with a
large backlog to clear.
