I do find that cdrecord from the command line seems to be quicker than using
the GUI under X. I mean for both the burning and the typing etc.

I have had 4 beermats in Linux 1 in Windows so far and I have burned about
20 in windows in the last several months and about 9 in Linux. I am aware
that when I learn to use
cdrecord
cdda2wav
mkisofs
etc
etc

My set up at home leaves a lot to be desired as far as a model server client
solution is concerned. I have;
Machine 1 == Debain (X is fscked)
Machine 2 == redhat/windowsnt
The debian box contains the cdwriter. I spend most of my time on the Windows
box.
