Sorry. I decided to use Slackware a long time before the comment that really 
put me off. I hadn't ruled Debian out at that point, however, I did have some 
bad experience with it (upgrading a machine from RedHat to Debian). This 
wasn't Debian's fault, really, but RedHat included RAID drivers in their 
kernels; the Linus kernels didn't have it included, and we needed it. It took 
most of a days work to get it running properly (and thereafter the machine 
kept crashing; most likely due to hardware problems, but it seemed more 
noticable after Debian was installed ;-).

I admit, when I wrote the statement on the top, I was feeling rather pissed 
off. I hereby publicly retract that statement, and hope people will forgive 
me. That's not to mean I'll immediately install Debian, though ;-)
