Hi all,

I agree and disagree and having been laid off at Christmas something that
no one at Lateral wanted obviously least of all me, I know exactly what a
lot of people are going through now. I don't see anything wrong with
people saying I am looking for a job as long as they clearly state it and
remember that there is very little work been offered or available on the
list. I think the last vacancy offer was the one I advertised 4 months
ago. mayb we could list the best resources Job Serve etc on the Gllug web
site. Then even if there are no vacancies within the group we could at
least direct people to a good set of resources. I was involved in a
project some time back that was thinking of setting up a community jobs
site so maybe that would help.

Peace Jim

BTW If Lateral take on again in the future I would unreservedly recommend
them to the right person and wish them every success in the future, I made
some excellent friends there.
