The BETT (computers in education) show is on this week only at Olympia,
hence the sudden interest in the future of education. For anyone wishing to
attend, it is aimed at teachers and other professionals. Students are
generally not admitted unless they are assisting on one of the display
stands.
There is usually a good range of educational hardware and software for
all ages, plus displays from the BBC and Channel 4, and a large section
aimed at special needs and disabilities. SuSE usually manage to squeeze a
penguin in there somewhere.
