Hi,

Pretty sure it supports dxf in and out, poss obj support both formats are
documented
on the web somewhere dxf no textures though. also supports vrml.

load's of info on it under general there's import/export etc...
also the link to BMRT is there too.

what sort of models are you doing?
there are some excellent web styly formats out there
http://www.pulse3d.com is one example also shockwave etc... don't know
bout linux
though.
