Not to start a flame war, but the point being, it was always called
Linn-ucks. It was only when the ignorant masses became involved that
people started using the other pronunciations. I first noticed it
around late 1992 or so. Before then, no one ever pronounced it any
way other than Linn-ucks. Except Linus, of course, who used Leenooks.
But even he's started using the more anglicised version recently.
