We always used alcohol but this may be a problem for some ;-). Some cleaners
play havoc with the conformal coating on boards (I think that's the correct
spelling). If you get ethanol and a light brush remove the chip wearing Anti
Static wrist strap and brush it off. It dry's really quick and leaves it
spotless.
