[Gllug] Manuals on IT security, the germans have one, does the UK???

"The manual of basic IT from the German federal office for security in IT 
[the Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik] or (BSI) is 
believed by many experts to be exemplary." or so it says in some bit of text 
I'm looking at.  

Is there a UK equivalent???
