Normally I'd shy away from things like this due to my dislike of beer.
However, I noticed the mention of cider and perry, too, which is a
definite plus in my books.

PS. I've just returned from Norway, where they serve a particularly fine
    pear cider (not quite sure why they don't just call it perry, though).
