Thanks, I've just checked that and that is set right. I've just remembered
that it's getting the information from the MX record in my DNS server. Does
this help.

You need to edit the sendmail.cf file (/etc/sendmail.cf).
Near the top of the file you should find a section like this:
# who I masquerade as (null for no masquerading) (see also $=M)
DM
you need to change the second line to:
DMdomainname
Then restart sendmail and all should be fine.
