serious offer to help.

But no-one knows what's needed for sure. Linux seems a really obvious
choice for cash-strapped schools, and if it's the lock of educational
software that's holding things back then there's no reason not to
write some. Anyone else smell a business oppertunity here?

No idea at all. As with everything wine, I suppose it depends on what
it is that you're installing.
