Agreed, 100%.

At least you learn what's wrong with all of them.

Try to find some old Unix boxes, as well, old HP-UX or AIX or IRIX or
even Interactive. The older, the odder: and it's the odd ones that teach
you a lot about the way that inter-Unix portability has improved in the
last few years :)

(It's the odd ones that drive you insane, too.)

Er, what's that? Linux has multi-path routing, and has had it since
2.2. *Appallingly* documented, but there.

I bow to your greater knowledge (I've been using it on those for ten
months; six months if you count from the time I got my first non-kernel
SPARC64 userspace stuff going.)
