Okay:
Get these messages:
Jun 9 16:27:53 landslide kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/1,
assigned device number 2
Jun 9 16:27:53 landslide kernel: usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x7c4/0xa109)
is not claimed by any active driver.
Jun 9 16:27:57 landslide /etc/hotplug/usb.agent: Setup usb-storage for USB
product 7c4/a109/17
Jun 9 16:27:57 landslide kernel: Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
Jun 9 16:27:57 landslide kernel: usb.c: registered new driver usb-storage
Jun 9 16:27:57 landslide kernel: scsi1 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage
devices
Jun 9 16:27:57 landslide kernel: Vendor: Datafab Model: USB to CF + SM C
Rev: 0017
Jun 9 16:27:57 landslide kernel: Type: Direct-Access
ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Jun 9 16:27:57 landslide kernel: USB Mass Storage support registered.
Then I type:
mount -v -t vfat /dev/sda2 /mnt/flash
Get this message in return:
Attached scsi removable disk sda at scsi1, channel 0, id 0, lun 0
and then nothing - console still accepts keyboard entry, but there is no
prompt and /mnt/flash isn't mounting anything.
What have I done wrong?
