Is there any way to forcibly umount a filesystem, even if it's in use?
Processes trying to access files on a no longer mounted filesystem could
just get an EIO error or similar. I know Tigran was working on something
similar to this a while back, IIRC by moving files that prevented the
umount to a separate (temporary?) filesystem, so that the umount would
work as normal. To the best of my knowledge, though, this never made
in into the kernel.
Is there any way of doing this?
