[Gllug] wierd process

Anyone any idea what this process is?  It just won't die and it is 
eating CPU:

[root at hellacool root]# ps -aux | grep kapm
root         3 86.1  0.0     0    0 ?        SW   07:50 461:52 [kapm-idled]
[root at hellacool root]# kill -9 3
[root at hellacool root]# ps -aux | grep kapm
root         3 86.1  0.0     0    0 ?        SW   07:50 462:09 [kapm-idled]
