[Gllug] Problem with http links in K Mail

My K Mail has developed a nasty habit when I click on an http URL.

Instead of opening a browser 'at' the location in question, it copies all the 
html files to my hard disk and points the browser to the temp local file 
such as

file:///home/andrew/.kde/share/apps/kfmexec/tmp/15064.0.article.php

Any ideas as to how to reset it back to launching the browser at the true URL 
?
