I was a student at UCL, and love Waterstone's, which sells several linux packages. I think you can just speak to the students there, if the staffs were not well informed. But Waterstones in Picaddiley offers nice desks and chairs. Blackwells, off Charing Cross Road,
btw, why not Amazonco.uk or bol.co.uk?
