No, there's plenty of reason to not do it out of habit. To most people,
it still looks like a load of gibberish, in some email clients it makes
your message unreadable, and pgp sigs in mailing list digests make me
want to kill the sender.
I sign when I feel it is necessary and ONLY when I feel it is necesary.
