I'm typing this on an Advent laptop.  Runs X just fine in Debian.  Took a
bit of guesswork to figure out what graphics card it had in it, but once
I'd got that right, everything Just Worked.  Apart from sound.  Which suits
me just fine, I have a Mac for doing pretty things on.
