[Gllug] Any clues

If the card is a FA311 Check the NetGear support page.

I installed one in December in a 2 year old Athlon SlotA M/B and it froze
the machine completely. Wouldn't even boot. NetGear said there was a problem
with compatibility between some M/B Chipsets and the Nat Semi chip on the
NIC. I switched cards with another box and all was fine.

NetGear may well have some more info by now
