On a similar note, has anyone come up with a decent solution to networked
filesystems for Unix laptops? NFS is hopelessly inadequate, as the machine
tends to hang as soon as you disconnect from the server.

I've been vaguely looking at Coda, but haven't got very far yet. Equally,
InterMezzo is another option, and I'd love to hear from anyone that's
succesfully solved this problem.
