dermot,
I haven't made the image yet. I can use either Ghost 2002 Personal Edition
(i.e. ghostpe.exe) or Ghost 2003 (ghost.exe). i.e. neither is the
Enterprise Edition.
Not sure I have not used either of these just a corp edition
>2} if you spanned the 3 CD's then no problem
I was planning to span them. Though I haven't spanned before. If I do span them can I ignore the cautions in the rest of your message? i.e I just want to put the whole thing on the 1 partition.
Yes ignore my warning then. IF your version of ghost cannot span then you could use my warning method <BG>
I've replaced images of Windows stuff before so I have a fair idea of
what I'm doing.
By the way, will the floppy made on the original Linux be able to direct
things to boot the later one i.e. boot from a different hard drive?
I doubt that it would work BUT I am not that good at the linux bits yet so you need to ask that as a specific question to this list
Thanks for the prompt response,
You are welcome Dermot
>if the CD's are 3 separate CD's you need 3 partitions to ghost them to.
