It is a piece of cake, we use 3 NICs bonded to match disk IO to network
IO on our boot and slice servers.  We can bring up 78 diskless nodes in
about an hour and a half, some where in the region of a quarter of a TB
of data.

Bonded NICs are brill' ;)
