Ideal from a "fulfilling our requirements" perspective. Sadly, it's
not adequate from a "checking the management tickbox" perspective.
In fairness, that's not quite as dumb as it first sounds. Keeping
tapes at home is all well and good, but the point is to be able to
bring our disaster recovery site up to a fully running state should
the need arise. Not wanting to be morbid[1], but if the tapes are
at the house of someone who is inside the building when it collapses,
then that's going to make restoring from them a bit tricky.

[1] Actually, that's not strictly true. I quite like being morbid.
    But then I always was a bit strange :-)
