[Gllug] NTL (was Phoneline DACSed today. Now reduced to 28.8kbps)

I had the NTL unlimited dialup deal for a while (when I got it for free!).

I found the connection very good - and never experienced any outages.

The only problem was that they kick you off after 2 hours - but you can
reconnect straight away - it's just worth reconnecting b4 a download.

Oh - but if you have to register via M$ (I think I did), throw their horrid
net connection program away once you've registered - it's really pants. It
tries to take over your machine,  resets your homepage every time you connect,
and is generally a pain
