I had a similar problem with a laptop that also had an external mouse
when I was at my desk.
You need to specify one as the "core pointer" and another to be
subservient to that. Something like this:
InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer"
InputDevice "Mouse1" "SendCoreEvents"
