Dunno, but it is not an IMAP problem, it is an SSL one I am pretty sure. The
program does not even start to connect to the IMAP server because SSL is
disabled. Checking mail over a normal IMAP connection is fine as the SSL
component of mozilla does not need to initialise. The problem affects web
pages viewed over SSL aswell, not just mail.
I have had this problem on other versions of Mozilla and on Mandrake as well as
Redhat. I can sole the problem by removing my .mozilla directory, but then I
lose all my settings. Can anyone point me to anything in this directory that
could be causing the problem?
