Seriously though, in my last employ for one project I/we went from:

old computer with no hard disk and LRP, plus two old 10Mbps cards

new computer with Redhat, plus three 100Mbps cards, disk shared
by NFS and an FTP server

gigabit Ethernet layer 3 router



The LRP solution worked fine till the floppy drive died,
and by that time our requirements had moved on - a lot!
