Actually, you should set up a .ignore or cvswrappers file when
adding/importing binary files, or use the '-kb' switch.  If you're working
on an existing project it might have been configured already.

For the person using Zope - cvsweb, the web gui for cvs has a really nice
visual representation of diff.
