By the way Pavel, you have brought up an important point.
Well - important to people building clusters :-)
The PC architecture does not permit true 'headless' operation-
machines will always need a graphics card of some sort in them to
operate.
Clusters tend to use either the built in graphics on the motherboard,
or a cheap graphics card.
What I have said is not entirely true of course - I've heard that
some Tyan motherboards now allow operation over the serial port,
without needing graphics to boot.
