[Gllug] routing problems (ip forwarding)

No, as the laptop only has one gateway, I think that it would route to 
the Internet by default to anything that is not 192.168.1.0/24 or 
192.168.2.0/24.

The routing table shows that it knows how to reach both networks so it 
should not need a static route.  The laptop can ping hosts in both subnets.

It is really quite strange.  I think that I might roll another kernel 
just to see that this one is behaving (beta software and all).
