Hi all,

Not sure why I got lumbered with this task since I spend most of time
alone on nights and have successfully avoided most meetings since I
started.

It is a strange shopping list but here is the griff, I have been asked
by the management to find a meeting/room scheduler. The current system
sucks. I have trawled fresh meat and sourforge and of course google but
haven't found anything that matches their requirements. Which I have
listed below. If people think I am been a bit cheeky feel free to flame
off or on list or better yet just ignore me.

What they want sounds quite resonable even sensible to my sleep deprived
mind.

Web interface:
half the people her use linux the other MS I use both and Mac OS 9/ X. ;)

Snappy user front end that can be personalised:
Not sure what they mean here but prolly choice of hideous colours and
lang support.

Schedule recurring room reservations by day, week etc:
Seems reasonable to me.

Print room schedule by day or week for posting outside room:
Ditto

Schedule additonal equipment:
AV stuff mainly I think

Schedule refreshments by head count and type:
they are pushing it a bit here IMHO but I will list it anyhow.

Natch it has to run on Linux since we don't use anything else here for
our office backend :) If anybody has ideas I would be greatful, I won't
responde until this evening since I am doing nights and will be sleeping
peacefully through the day light hours.

Peace Jim
