Just found the problem, silly me, I forgot to copy the actual id_dsa key
across, works now, thanks all.

Neil

Subject: [Gllug] SSH key authentication revisited

Hi All,

Ok, Like I said I have the ssh key authentication working now on my one
machine, but now I want it working on the backup version of this machine, so
I tried adding the key to the authorized_keys2 file on the original host
that the key was created on, and then trying to ssh from the other machine,
and this doesn't work. So do I have to create a key on the other machine and
do the same thing with the initial machine, copy the key accross, and then
add it to authorized_hosts2 on that machine?
As ideally I would like to use the same key for both machines, this is
possible right?

Thanks
Neil Fryer
