[Gllug] modules under 2.5

Hiya,

i have been playing with 2.5.66, and once again my laptop sound no longer
crackles under battery and i can watch my dvds :-), but, modules, 

I managed to hack the atmel wifi driver to compile under 2.5.66 but it just
wont insmod, says, invalid module format, object contained no module (or
somthin similar) 

any ideas of anything i might do to make this module actually be a 2.5.x module
