[Gllug] gcc

	Possibly a little off topic. (But then what so long as it involves 
linux is off topic here :-)
	
	Ok I've just switched -O on in gcc to compile. and my program has 
stopped working. I was trying to speed it up:) but now it does not work at 
all. 

	Is it just the compile that needs -O or the link as well. etc. 
etc.

	Any ideas
